In a bizarre crossover event that challenges usual forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Uncovered
According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of banned rituals and fearsome changes resonate through the shadows." The narrative introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a secret group.
The questline concentrates on "strange trials and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Metamorphoses
The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Rewards and Additional Content
Players who accomplish the mission will receive an exclusive katana in addition to numerous objects concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
